Hello Everyone
With Assessment Week finishing on Tuesday, much additional work was undertaken this week to ensure Exam scripts were marked and feedback provided to pupils. Staff also remained behind on Wednesday night quite late to make sure reports were well underway. All Reports will be issued towards the end of the Christmas break.
A huge thanks to our Canteen staff who also served a most delicious Christmas dinner on Wednesday. Children and staff thoroughly enjoyed their meal and it was great to see so many empty plates returned to the serving hatch. We also dressed up in our Christmas finery with all donations going to St Vincent de Paul. Year 14 got in on the act too and had a range of fun activities - hard to believe this will be their last Christmas in HTC!!
This was followed on Thursday with a terrific Bake Sale organised via the Religion Department, again to raise money for SVP. And there’s more fundraising during our school show next week!.
With trips for the History Club, The Newcomer Club and Year 12 off to Rushmere Shopping Centre for retail therapy, it was an exhausting week.
Don’t forget – next week sees the amazing production of Frozen, the West End Musical in the College, Monday 16th – Wednesday 18th. An absolute sell-out of a show.
