Hi Everyone
What a week it has been! Calamity Jane was awesome – with very talented, competent and confident young people. We couldn’t have asked for more from each young actor and musician on the stage, and to have standing ovations each night alongside positive resounding feedback was amazing. Huge thanks to all staff who contributed in any way but especially Miss Mc Curry, Producer, and Mr Mc Gartland, Musical Director. Your motivation and encouragement to the cast was incredible, and each young person shone on the stage. Sadly, the production is the last large scale event on the current stage but don’t worry, there’ll be plenty more events when we move in to our new school. Roll on May 2025! What a way to end this half term!
It’s Mid-term break next week – so relax and take it easy – everyone has deserved this break. School will reopen on Monday 6 November with Year 13 & 14 Parent Teacher Meetings between 10.00am – 12.00pm and Year 12 Parent Teacher Meetings running from 1.00pm – 3.00pm.
Don’t forget! – the clocks go back tomorrow evening – an extra hour in bed!
I really can’t believe where this half-term has gone to!
