Hi Everyone
The Agriculture Club had a great day yesterday at Ballymena Mart as they prepared and paraded ‘Sky’ our prize bull, weighing in at 600kg, and eventually purchased by the Jalex Farm. The Farming and Agriculture Pupils have reared Sky and have gained so much knowledge re animal care and nutrition that they themselves are ready for future farming. Such an inspiring idea!
We had a fantastic networking day on Tuesday under the umbrella of ‘Let’s Navigate Autism Together’. With a range of exhibitors and live discussions, much support, advice and guidance was provided to parents and community. The Exhibition has also led to the setting up of workshops in January 2025 under Eden Consultancy for strategies and knowledge to transform children’s lives and support them to flourish in their environments.
Sadly, the MacRory Team are out of their competition as well as the U-20 Ladies, who in particular had a fantastic Championship run. Our thoughts now turn to the U-14 Girls who are in training.
Year 12 listened to an excellent presentation on ‘One Punch Kills’ whilst Year 8 received information on Online Safety, with both events delivered by PSNI. Years 13 & 14 also received a very informative talk from Bank of Ireland about Protecting Yourself Against Fraud. And hopefully, you checked out our Website to see Year 14 Media Studies and their participation in a Photography Workshop via Michelle Coey Photography and CFC Interiors. Very inspiring!

Plenty of revision and quiet study required over the weekend in advance of Christmas Assessments beginning next Thursday. Good Luck Everyone!
Have a great weekend.
