The Role of Holy Trinity College School Council 2023-2024

The School Council at Holy Trinity College enables pupils to develop as individuals who can make a positive contribution to the school community. Pupil councils give the students at Holy Trinity College the opportunity to experience active Citizenship for themselves, opening their minds to the roles they can play in their local community.

 

Our School Council, which meets regularly is, is made up of democratically elected pupils from each Year Group. The School Council enables different Year Groups to become aware of each others problems. The students actively discuss issues that need to be addressed at a whole school level. The elected students represent the views of their own Year Group at the School Council Meeting and report back to students and the Senior Leadership Team on their outcomes.
