Week 31

Week 31 – Friday 29th April 2022

Hi there!

Welcome back to Term 3!. I hope you all had a lovely relaxing and happy Easter with your family. The weather was good as well so perhaps this is how it is going to be for the next few weeks/months?

It is reminiscent of Exam Weather however, and there is no getting away from those. A huge thanks to staff who were in over the Easter break providing revision for Years 12 – 14 and well done to those students who attended. I am really proud of you and your commitment. All coursework is parcelled up and ready to be collected next Tuesday morning. Last minute preparations have arrived for exams and whilst you should be studying as much as possible now, you also need to look after yourselves – get plenty of sleep, space out the studying and eat healthily.

The Year 8 online Parent Teacher Meeting was very positive on Monday and with a great response. Thank you parents/guardians for taking the time to book online and supporting the College on your child’s progress. Year 8 are a terrific group and we are very proud of them all.

As we approach the May Day Bank Holiday weekend, final preparations are underway for our annual Golf Classic in Killymoon Golf Club on Monday 2nd May. It is sure to be a great day for all Golfers with plenty of craic. On behalf of the College, I extend a huge thanks to Mr Canavan and the Events Team who have worked so hard to ensure the Event will be a huge success, and to our local community and all of our sponsors who have been so generous in every way to promote and support Holy Trinity towards our new school build.

Have a great weekend

Isabel Russell
